The Kirk's ran The Danish Smorgasbord at the manor  from 1948 to 1972 Folks came from miles around to enjoy good food and fellowship. It is an era that must never be forgotten. The Kirk's lived up stairs and their daughter eventually moved into the Carriage House (next to the manor) and raised her three sons there.
