TEEN and FAMILY Investigations

Farnam Manor and Team SPECTRE recognizes the interest of teens in wanting to ghost hunt. Almost all ghost hunt facilities require ghost hunters to be 18 years old or older. Many of our own teens and some pre-teens enjoy the ghost hunting experience, so we are now offering a ghost hunt experience to the teen public.

TEEN NIGHT - January 7, January 21 and February 4, 2012

The requirements to participate in a high school night with Farnam Manor and Team Spectre LLC are:

  • Participant must be in high school.

  • Participant and a parent/legal guardian must read, sign, date, fully understand, agree with and abide by all the requirements of the permission slip/waiver of liability. Waivers must be brought to the hunt. No one with an incomplete waiver or missing waiver will be permitted to participate.

  • Special needs individuals and certain allergy issues must be identified and due to the nature of the historical facility, Farnam may be unable to accommodate some special needs and allergy issues. All such questions must be directed to Farnam and adequately settled BEFORE purchase of your ticket. Refunds will not be provided to ticket purchasers that realize after purchase that the location is unable to accommodate the ticket user’s special needs.

  • Participant must have his/her own reliable transportation to and from the event. This may be a family member, friend, or self-transport.

  • Anyone who chooses to stay at the event while his/her ward attends the event must remain in the waiting area(s) or must pay for their attendance and sign a waiver.

  • Participant must behave in a responsible and respectful manor to the facility and other guests.

  • Anyone not complying with the requirements of Farnam Manor and Team Spectre LLC and/or not behaving in a respectful manor will be required to leave the hunt and wait in the waiting area until his/her transportation returns. Anyone refusing to comply or continuing to cause voluntary disruption will be removed from the facility by police escort, and appropriate charges will be filed.

The cost per ticket is $20 for eligible students.

The high school event will run from 7-11 PM.

Arrive between 6:30 and 6:50 PM. Tour will start promptly at seven.

Only cash payment is accepted at the door. Other forms of payment must be handled through the ticket-purchasing site and Farnam Manor.

To ensure you have a ticket for the event, have a parent/legal guardian purchase the minor’s ticket after the waiver has been completed, the above information has also been read and understood, and questions regarding accommodation for any issues have been settled.

The event will provide a tour of the facility. All attendees will join a discussion on how to ghost hunt, where we will review what attendees already know as well as offer advice on what may not be known or understood. Attendees will then be divided into groups with guides and will thereafter hunt only with the assigned guide. Attendees interested in learning more about using certain ghost hunting tools are advised to mention such interest during the open discussion on ghost hunting so guides can work with you regarding your area of interest.

Anyone interested in discussing his/her experience(s) occurring the night of the hunt is encouraged to do so at the end of the event. Tour Guides will be available to discuss the event from approximately 11 to 11:30.
